{verse}
[A]O Lord my [D]God, when I in [A]awesome wonder
Consider [E]all the worlds Thy [A]hands have made
I see the [D]stars, I hear the [A]rolling thunder
Thy power through[E]out the uni[A]verse displayed

{chorus}
Then sings my [D]soul, my Savior God to [A]Thee
How great Thou [E]art, how great Thou [A]art
Then sings my [D]soul, my Savior God to [A]Thee
How great Thou [E]art, how great Thou [A]art

{verse}
[A]When through the [D]woods and forest [A]glades I wander
And hear the [E]birds sing sweetly [A]in the trees
When I look [D]down from lofty [A]mountain grandeur
And hear the [E]brook and feel the [A]gentle breeze

{verse}
[A]And when I [D]think that God, His [A]Son not sparing
Sent Him to [E]die, I scarce can [A]take it in
That on the [D]cross, my burden [A]gladly bearing
He bled and [E]died to take a[A]way my sin
O Lord my God, when I in awesome wonder
Consider all the worlds Thy hands have made
I see the stars, I hear the rolling thunder
Thy power throughout the universe displayed

Then sings my soul, my Savior God to Thee
How great Thou art, how great Thou art
Then sings my soul, my Savior God to Thee
How great Thou art, how great Thou art

When through the woods and forest glades I wander
And hear the birds sing sweetly in the trees
When I look down from lofty mountain grandeur
And hear the brook and feel the gentle breeze

And when I think that God, His Son not sparing
Sent Him to die, I scarce can take it in
That on the cross, my burden gladly bearing
He bled and died to take away my sin
